Privacy Policy

Juuber (“we,” “us”) is operated by Shabazz Ventures LLC. This policy explains what information the Juuber iOS app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We designed Juuber to collect as little as possible.

Information we collect

Account information. If you create an account, we store your email address and a one-way hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
Activity you create. Jobs you save and application events you log (for example, marking a role as applied) are stored so we can show your saved and applied lists.
Approximate location. If you grant location access, your device location is used on-device to center the map. It is not required to use the app and is not sold or shared.

How we use information

To provide core features: browsing roles on a map, saving jobs, and tracking applications you log yourself.
To operate and secure the service, including preventing abuse of our API.

Job listings and third parties

Job listings shown in Juuber are aggregated from public employer career pages (such as Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby job boards). When you tap “Apply,” you are taken to the employer’s original posting; Juuber does not submit applications on your behalf and does not auto-fill or scrape your data into any application.

Some optional features may send non-identifying text to a third-party AI provider (OpenAI) through our secure server proxy to generate suggestions. We do not send your email or password to these providers.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information.
We do not show third-party advertising trackers.
We do not auto-apply to jobs or submit your information without your action.

Data retention and deletion

Saved jobs and application events are retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below, and we will delete it within a reasonable period.

Security

Passwords are hashed, and third-party API keys are kept on our servers, never inside the app. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

Juuber is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
